Rectifying the Japanese-manipulated image of An Yong-bok
In celebration of Dokdo Day in October, Gyeongsangbuk-do (governor: Kim Gwan-yong) held a symposium titled “Shedding Light on the Japanese-manipulated Image of An Yong-bok” at the Academic Ination Hall of Daegu Haany University at 1 p.m. on October 30.
Led by An Yong-bok Research Center (director: Professor Kim Byung-woo) of Daegu Haany University, An Yong-boks activities, from Japanese historical materials such as Jukdo Gisa, Jukdogo, and Wonnok 9 Byeongjanyeon Joseon Juchakan Volume 1 Jigakseo to the diplomatic negotiations between Josoen and Japan triggered by An Yong-bok, were presented, and the points of argument between Korea and Japan were thoroughly discussed by the participating experts.
